We want to hear about bugs. The fastest path to a fix is a clear, specific report.
In the app
Settings → Help → Report a bug opens a form pre-filled with your device, OS, and app version. Add the details below and tap submit. This goes straight to our support queue.
By email
If the in-app form is not working, email info@aegisbrightsmark.com with:
- Title — one sentence: "Vote button does nothing in coven detail screen."
- Steps to reproduce — numbered, specific. "Open coven X, scroll to chapter Y, tap vote on option Z, nothing happens."
- Expected vs actual — what you thought would happen vs what did.
- Device model — iPhone 15 Pro, Pixel 8, Samsung S24, etc.
- OS version — iOS 17.4, Android 14, etc.
- App version — visible at Settings → About.
- Screenshot or recording — if you can capture it, do.
What we will and will not respond to
We respond to every bug report, usually within 48 hours. We will:
- Acknowledge the report.
- Tell you whether it is reproducible.
- Track it through to a fix and tell you when the fix ships.
We will not respond with internal ticket numbers, fix dates, or anything that looks like a corporate ticket system. The Chronicle is a small team and we keep the loop tight.
Security bugs
Security bugs go through a separate channel — see Report a security issue. Please do not post security details in the public bug report form.
