Site-wide rules apply inside every coven. Coven leaders can add house rules on top, but they cannot loosen the site-wide ones.
Site-wide rules
- No harassment. Respectful disagreement is welcome. Personal attacks are not.
- No hate speech. Content targeting people based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, or other protected characteristics is removed and the poster banned.
- No spoilers outside designated threads. Spoiler tags exist for a reason. Use them.
- No doxxing. Sharing someone's real-world identity is an immediate ban.
- No real-money trading. Selling accounts, AP, or anything in-game is prohibited.
- No coordinated vote manipulation. Discussing strategy is fine. Vote-trading rings are not.
- No mass spam. Includes copy-pasted "support my coven" messages across other covens.
The full list lives in the Acceptable Use Policy.
Coven house rules
Leaders can add their own rules covering:
- Discussion language (most covens are English-only or single-language).
- Activity expectations (read at least one chapter per week, etc.).
- Faction loyalty (some covens kick members who switch factions).
- Spoiler etiquette beyond the site-wide minimum.
House rules are visible on the coven page before you join.
Enforcement
Site-wide rules are enforced by the moderation team — see Report a player. House rules are enforced by the coven leader, usually through warnings and removal.
Appeals
If you think a moderation action against you was wrong, email info@aegisbrightsmark.com within 30 days. Appeals are reviewed by a different moderator than the one who took the action.
