Most purchases in The Living Chronicle are processed by Apple or Google, so refunds go through them — not us.
Apple App Store
Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, find the purchase, and choose Request a refund. Apple usually responds within 48 hours.
Google Play Store
Visit play.google.com/store/account/orders, find the purchase, and tap Request a refund. Google's refund window for accidental purchases is 48 hours; longer for defective content.
EU 14-day right of withdrawal
If you live in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content under the Consumer Rights Directive. Important caveats:
- Season Pass — refundable within 14 days provided you have not used any premium features. Reading even one premium chapter waives the right.
- Action Point packs — these are immediately consumed when you receive them. Your 14-day right is waived on delivery, which you accept at checkout.
- Cosmetic items — same as AP packs.
To exercise your EU withdrawal right, email info@aegisbrightsmark.com with your username, the order ID, and the date of purchase. We respond within 14 days.
Refunds for service defects
If something we shipped does not work, we will fix it and compensate you in AP, extended Chronicle+ time, or a direct refund. Email us with details.
