- ~150 MB of storage for the app and current chapter cache.
- Internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular). The Chronicle is not playable offline beyond cached chapters.
Android
- Android phone or tablet running Android 12 or later.
- ~150 MB of storage.
- Google Play Services is not required.
Web
- Any modern browser released in the last 18 months: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, or Brave.
- JavaScript enabled.
- Cookies enabled (we only set strictly-necessary cookies unless you opt in to analytics).
- A screen at least 320 pixels wide. The web client is fully responsive.
Network
The Chronicle is light on bandwidth. A typical morning session transfers under 500 KB. Audio narration adds about 2 MB per chapter.
Accessibility
The app supports VoiceOver, TalkBack, larger text, and reduced motion. The web client meets WCAG 2.2 AA. See our Accessibility statement for details.
Languages
At launch the Chronicle is available in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, and Japanese. Switch languages from the in-app settings menu.
