Each chapter ends with one or more open questions — choices the story is asking the community to make. Your votes shape the next chapter.
Casting a vote
- Read today's chapter.
- At the end, you will see the open questions and the available answers.
- Tap the answer you support. You can change your vote until the chapter cycle closes (midnight UTC).
Vote weight
Every player gets one base vote. Some factors increase your vote's weight:
- Faction size — smaller factions have slightly heavier votes to keep things competitive.
- Recent activity — players who have read at least one chapter in the last seven days vote at full weight.
- Rank — higher-ranked players get a small bonus, capped at +25% above base.
Your weight never exceeds 1.5x base. The system is designed so that no single player or whale can swing an outcome.
Tied votes
Ties are resolved by the DM agent during simulation, with a bias toward the option that creates the more interesting story. Yes, this is intentional — boring ties have boring tiebreakers.
When the next chapter reflects your vote
Vote close is midnight UTC. The next chapter publishes about 8 hours later. Your decision becomes canon at that moment.
Can I see results?
Yes. Once the chapter publishes, the previous chapter's vote breakdown is visible in the chapter footer.
